Every time a story about Joey and Rory is posted, commenters come on here and say enough is enough, don't publish these stories. If that's how you feel, just skip these stories. As for me: I'm fighting breast cancer and I really do care about their family so I'll continue to read. Although Joey and I fight different kinds of cancer, I still consider her a sister in the fight. Not enough credit is given to caregivers and I really appreciate witnessing how Rory still loves her under the stress and agony of being a caretaker.
Also, do not claim to know the cause of someone's cancer or to put blame on them. It's cruel. I had a .6% chance of cancer considering my lack of genetic factors and my healthy lifestyle. Sometimes people just get really lousy luck even when they do all "the right things". The point is, when someone has cancer, don't kick them when they're down by sharing opinions that are wrong at best and malicious at worst.
